Un Desayuno Especial / A Special Breakfast

Trato de disfrutarme cada día de mi vida. Miro a mi alrededor veo a mi esposo e hijos saludables, mi Madre está recibiendo tratamiento. Así que mi vida no está mal, está muy bien!El fin de semana pasado tuve el placer de salir a desayunar con mi esposo e hijos. No fue planeado, esa mañana me desperté y le dije a mi esposo: “Salgamos a desayunar”. No es fácil salir de repente con una pequeña de 9 meses. No sé como salimos en menos de una hora y llegamos al restaurante…a esperar 🙂 Mi esposo una vez más fue muy paciente. Nos sentaron a desayunar y me deguste cada bocado. Obviamente disfrute inmensamente la compañía. Mi pequeña se porto súper bien. A ella le gusta comer del plato de los adultos y hace cada reguero! Mi hijo se comió todo lo que tenía en el plato, algo que no ocurre frecuentemente y señal que el también le gusto su desayuno.

A veces, cuando me estoy arreglando para salir con todos, parece una locura que todos salgamos a tiempo, con esto de ponerse las chaquetas de invierno, bufanda, gorro, guantes etc. Pero todo ese ajetreo vale la pena; porque estos son los momentos que me disfruto una y otra vez, ya que cuando termina el día, cuando todo está recogido, cuando estoy a punto de quedarme dormida, me vuelven estos recuerdos y me hacen sonreír.

I try to enjoy each day of my life. I look around and I see my healthy husband and children, my Mom is getting her treatment. So my life it’s not bad at all, it’s pretty good!Last weekend I had the pleasure of going out to have breakfast with my husband and kids. It was not planned, that morning I just woke up and said to my husband: “let’s go out for breakfast”. It’s not easy to go out all of a sudden with a 9 month old. I don’t know how but we got out of the house and got to the restaurant in less than an hour…to wait 🙂 My husband once again was very patient. We sat down for breakfast and I savored every bite. Obviously I enjoyed the company immensely. My baby girl behaved very well. She likes eating off our plates and makes quite a mess! My son ate everything on his plate, which is rare and a clear indication he also had a good breakfast.

Sometimes, when I am getting ready to leave with everyone in tow, it seems crazy that we are all getting out on time, since we have to put on winter coats, scarves, hats, gloves, etc. All that hustle and bustle is worth it because these are the moments I enjoy once and then again; at the end of the day when everything is picked up, when I am about to fall asleep, these memories come back and make me smile.

Tengo tu iPod Mami / I got your iPod Mami

Mi hija de 9 meses, se mete en todo. Esta gateando y se agarra de lo que puede para pararse. A mi “pequeña traviesa” le gustan mucho como a la mayoría de los niños todos los aparatos electrónicos. Le encanta el control remoto, los laptops, mi iPad y iPod, así que cuando tiene la oportunidad les echa mano y rapidito ¡para la boca! En su última aventura con mi iPod, se tomo varias fotos (yo le ayude un poquito). La mejor parte de este encuentro con mi iPod fue su reacción cada vez que se tomaba una foto. Se reía después de cada foto.

My 9 month old daughter is into everything now. She’s crawling and grabbing on to anything she can to pull herself up. My “little mover” like most kids loves all electronic devices. She particularly likes the remote control, the laptops, my iPad and iPod. When she sees her chance, she grabs stuff and of course it goes to her mouth! During her latest encounter with my iPod, she took some pictures of herself (with a bit of my help). The best thing was her reaction every time she took a picture. She laughed after every shot.

Feliz 2013 / Happy 2013

¡Hola!

Espero hayan pasado todos unas felices fiestas. A todos les deseo un 2013 lleno de salud y prosperidad.
Yo pase Navidad y Despedida de Año en casita con mi esposo e hijos. Me disfrute cada momento de estas fiestas ya que fueron las primeras con nuestra hija. Aquí les comparto algunas de mis fotos favoritas.
En este 2013 tengo varias metas, una de las ellas es la de escribir más frecuentemente en este; mi querido blog.

I hope everyone had nice holidays. I wish you a 2013 full of good health and prosperity.
My Christmas and New Years were spent at home with my husband and kids. I enjoyed every moment of these holidays since these were the first with our daughter. Here I will share with you some of my favorite pictures.
I have several goals for 2013, one of them being that I plan to write more here; in my dear blog.
